- Who is this privacy notice aimed at?
If you
(i) participate in VTEX DAY or events related to VTEX DAY ("VTEX DAY Events"); or
(ii) access or register on the websites and internet applications related to the purchase of tickets; participation and accreditation in the VTEX DAY Events ("VTEX DAY Apps");
this privacy notice applies to you.
- Does VTEX DAY use my personal data? For what purpose?
Yes. Your personal data is required for:
(i) register for the "VTEX DAY Apps", which offer: information on the attractions, agenda and schedules of the VTEX DAY Events; tools for interacting with the VTEX DAY Events by sending questions or comments; alerts, notifications and updates regarding support or service;
(ii) authenticate users of the VTEX DAY Apps for fraud detection and prevention;
(ii) organizing the VTEX DAY Events, in the context of managing participants (registration, account management, answers to questions and technical support) and managing information technology resources (infrastructure, diagnosis of server problems, traffic optimization);
(iii) transmit targeted advertising, including through other companies' ad networks; send communications about products, services, promotions, news, events; and customize the VTEX Apps services according to your tastes and interests;
(iv) to maintain files or records relating to the VTEX DAY Events; to monitor compliance with the Terms of Use of the VTEX DAY Apps; and to comply with regulatory obligations; and
(v) for any purpose that you authorize at the time of data collection.
- How does VTEX DAY access your personal data?
- Through the applications that manage ticket sales;
- Through registrations made by you;
- By third parties who have received your instructions to register you for VTEX DAY Events; share invitations for you to register for VTEX DAY Events; or mention you in comments, references, photos, audio and video at VTEX DAY Events.
- What personal data does VTEX DAY have access to?
Registration data: e-mail, login, password, name, cpf, job title, company, city, state, telephone number, links to social networks (facebook/linkedin/google), when you access VTEX DAY through authentication of these services.
Records of access to VTEX DAY Apps: IP address, date and time of access, browsing history, under the terms of Law 12.965/2014.
Data whose use you authorize during the use of the VTEX DAY Apps, gamification and augmented reality features: replies and comments on messages, photos, videos, audios, participation in forums and surveys, location data, cookies (authentication, preferences, statistics and monitoring). Your authorization to use this data may be revoked at any time - however, this may disable some of the functionalities of the VTEX DAY Apps.
- Does VTEX DAY share my personal data with anyone?
Yes - anonymously, whenever possible. VTEX DAY may share your personal data with commercial partners, advertisers, sponsors and service providers involved in VTEX DAY Events, in Brazil or abroad. All are contractually obliged to protect the confidentiality, integrity and security of your personal data.
- How long does VTEX DAY keep my personal data?
(i) until such time as you request the deletion of your personal data;
(ii) until they are no longer necessary or relevant for us to offer you our services, or
(iii) the end of the retention period according to the laws applicable to a certain type of data, or the need to preserve data to protect VTEX DAY's rights.
- How can I exercise my rights as a data subject?

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and guarantee your right to access your personal data (or to exercise your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to anyone who has no right to receive it. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within 5 working days. Occasionally, it may take longer than 5 days if your request is particularly complex or if you have made several requests. In this case, we will communicate with you and keep you updated on the progress of your request.

However, VTEX DAY is not responsible for the actions, advertisements and content generated by our business partners and ad networks, and this policy does not apply to them, as VTEX DAY does not control them. VTEX DAY reserves the right to change this policy as often as necessary in order to provide you with more security, convenience and to improve your experience. That is why it is very important to access our policy periodically. If any relevant changes are made that require new authorizations from you, we will publish a new privacy policy.
Applicable law and dispute resolution
This document shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the federative republic of brazil. The jurisdiction of the District of the Capital of the State of São Paulo is hereby elected as the competent jurisdiction to settle any questions arising from this document, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, however privileged it may be.
